@JAYBUMAOM Jay was fucking awesome at the APAHM concert last night.

I probably completely lost my voice screaming my head off.

He was absolutely wonderful and breathtaking onstage.

I feel so blessed to have been able to see him perform live. My dreams have finally come true!

First of all, I want to sincerely thank CAROLINE @c_roline for telling me about Jay’s upcoming APAHM concert last month while I was still dealing with the stress of high school and college work (I haven’t been able to fangirl about him properly for 2 YEARS because I was too busy! >_<) Without you, I wouldn’t have been able to meet Jay at all or experience the happiest moment of my life! I LOVE YOU <3 

My two friends, Minyoung and Shinae, and I left school around 2:40PM (we planned to leave right after school around 2:10PM but we had to pick up our graduation stoles and it was a huge hassle.) Tyson’s Corner is usually 20 minutes away from our school by driving, but for some reason there was so much heavy traffic on the Beltway that we didn’t get to Tyson’s until around 3:15PM. We were expecting that there won’t be that many fans there yet just 2 hours before the actual signing but BOY WERE WE WRONG. We entered the mall and were running for our lives to get to the Verizon center and there were already practically over 300 (or 400+?) fans there lining right outside the Verizon Center (which the line wrapped around the mall directory.) My friends and I were standing under the sunlight with about like 300 fans before us and there were a bunch of security guards and APAHM volunteers trying to get us all to stand against the rails. Some fans before us asked the volunteers when Jay will be coming, and the volunteers said around 4 or 5PM. We were told that the first 100 fans were guaranteed to see him to get poster and wrist banner and after that they’ll take in as much fans as possible, but they have to stop the signing at 7PM. My friends and I started freaking out and getting super worried that we wouldn’t be able to see Jay! >_< All the regular customers and shoppers who weren’t there to see Jay (or didn’t know who he is) kept asking me and my friends “What’s going on? Why are there so many people lining outside and screaming?” and we kept responding “We’re here to see Jay Park! He’s a famous Korean celebrity!”

We weren’t sure exactly what Jay was going to do once we arrived at the meet and greet. I had my Cornell University notebook with a picture of Jay in it for him to sign. My friends were unprepared (had no paper or pen for him to sign) so they went to Hallmark to buy stationery so that he could sign. At around 4:00PM there were suddenly so much screaming from the front of the line and people at the back started freaking out “OMG IS JAY HERE?! AHHH” and some people and I tried to rush to the front of the store but I went to the front and I didn’t see him (and I got pissed) … apparently it was a false alarm and fans have mistaken a white guy for Jay XD I went back to my original position in the line and I was talking to a fan and her mother (I think) before me, who they said that they came from South Korea to see Jay. My friends came back and told me that we could move up much farther because they found out that her friend is also here to see Jay, so the three of us moved up the line by about 50 fans to our college friend, Esther (I don’t think the people we cut were very happy ^^;;) Again around 4:30PM people started screaming again! Thinking that Jay arrived (My friends saw a waving hand and thought it was Jay waving at fans but it was actually a fan waving her hand) but again I don’t think Jay had come yet.

We continued to wait in line until about 4:58PM. Suddenly the line started moving a lot and there were some fans coming out of the Verizon store with posters. We asked some fans about what happened in the store and they told us that it went by very fast as the security guards kept trying to push the fans out of the store once they were done. But all of them were so happy and excited saying that they got a picture with him and some got to shake hands with him (if they just stuck their hands out to him)! As we moved closer and closer to the Verizon store, there were so many girls coming out screaming in so much excitement looking at their pictures with Jay and the security guards were yelling at them to get out of the way. We even saw a girl coming out of the store crying (I’m 95% sure it was tears of joy. XD) When my friends and I got into the Verizon center around 5:30PM, we were lined up against the red pillar and the volunteers told us to get our cameras or phones ready to take picture. I started freaking out so badly because Jay was right behind! When I was about the 5th person behind the first, I saw Jay with his gangster hat and fake glasses and I started screaming (or more like squeaking) because I couldn’t believe I was actually seeing Jay! My friends and the security guard yelled at me to get against the pillar and as I moved closer, I started taking stalker pictures of Jay with my iPhone XD I always knew that Jay was a short guy but omg he looked so tiny (or maybe the table was too big for him) but his skin was so snow white perfect and beautiful >___< Gah he makes me hate my skin so much :( When it was my turn to get the poster and picture, he gave me a brief glance and signed the poster. He posed with his two gangsta thumbs up for the picture and said “thank you for coming” handing me the poster and I was just too paralyzed to SAY ANYTHING! >_< I waited for my two friends but the security guard again was trying to push us out of the store. When all three of us got out, we just started screaming so much in joy and I was just shaking in so much happiness that I was about to cry (even though I only saw him for like a minute) >_< In my mind, my brain was just going “AHHHHH OMGOMGOMGOMG I JUST SAW JAY PARK I JUST SAW JAY PARK IN FLESH AHHHHH!!!!” 

So this is my lengthy fan account about my absolutely exciting experience at the Meet & Greet :) Even though I waited nearly 3 hours in line just to see him for like a minute, it was completely worth it to see Jay in person and to be able to get a picture with him! I will be attending the APAHM concert at the Filmore Center tomorrow (THANKS TO MY AWESOME FRIENDS FOR BUYING A TICKET FOR ME AS MY 18TH BIRTHDAY PRESENT <3) so hopefully I will be able to post some pictures & videos and write another fan account (: GOOD LUCK TO JAY TOMORROW! I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOUR BREATHTAKING PERFORMANCE! <3

He’s coming to the D.C. area on the 18th and 19th. He will be at Tyson’s Corner for Meet and Greet May 18th 5PM and will be participating in the APAHM concert in Silver Spring, Maryland (I live about 20 to 30 minutes away from Tyson’s and Silver Spring.)
